Anthony “Tony” Conrad Ramos, 90, of Malaga, NJ passed away suddenly on December 9th, 2022. Born in Los Angeles, he met his wife of 67 years, his soulmate Veneranda, at age 8.  After spending 4 years in the Air Force he and Vene began their family.  Before long they had acquired a number of rental units and Tony had honed his skills building swimming pools to the point where he designed and built a custom gunite rig and started his own business in New Jersey, Quality Gunite, Inc.  He was an ingenious tinkerer, fixing his cars, equipment and making toys for his grandchildren.  He singlehandedly built an addition that more than doubled the size of the family house.  Among his toys were a motorhome, sailboat, and Jaguar E-type.

Tony lit up the room with his charismatic personality, sense of humor and dashing good looks, complete with dimples.  Everyone who knew him, including Vene, would agree that you couldn’t find a more devoted husband. He was always welcoming and happy to see family and friends, greeting them warmly with a smile.  He was a devoted Catholic and hard-working family man, providing all the joys and opportunities life had to offer for his family.  Ultimately, his greatest treasure was his family which included his children: Cynthia (John), Mark (Kathie) and Edward (Eileen); grandchildren: Jennifer (Ron), John Anthony, Jacqueline (Junmar), Julia (Brandon), Douglas (Mary), Alexis, Daniel, Rachel, Anthony, Keleigh and Kevin; great-grandchildren: Angelina, Rosalie, James, Wesley and Ryley, with two more on the way; and siblings: Ellen, Robert, Sylvia, and half-sister Graciela.  He was predeceased by his daughter Antoinette, granddaughter Caitlin and brother and business partner Oscar.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing held at Mater Ecclesiae Roman Catholic Church, 261 Cross Keys Rd, Berlin, NJ 08009 on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at 9:00 AM with Requiem Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, 1300 Tuckahoe Rd, Newfield, NJ 08344.

Today came too soon. I lost my big buddy. I won’t be able to work on things with you, do yard work or gardening. I won’t be able to wave to you everyday I won’t get to hear you sing “hey good lookin”, “camp town lady” or “uh, oh I’m falling in love again”

I wasn't ready to lose my best friend. I'm so happy I spent so much time with you instead of playing outside with everyone else I fell asleep on your lap. I went over to see you every single day for so many years as soon as
I would wake up my first thought was you. You were the best grandpa I could have asked for
You were my favorite person you cared so much for everyone but the bond that you and I had was unbreakable I am beyond thankful that I have spent so much of my life with you. And be with you on your last day.
It was so sudden it didn’t seem like it was your time yet.

I’ll be driving your tractor down the road when my car breaks down like always. Thank you for the endless things you’ve showed me and memories that will last a life time. Forever in my heart RIP I love you so much big buddy. I’ll never forget all the fun times we had together. Every one on one trip to go pick up your new lawnmowers. And every adventure we did together See you later good lookin
